El Gobernador esboz\u00f3 un plan que esencialmente aumentar\u00e1 gradualmente el salario m\u00ednimo desde $8.85 hasta llegar a $15.00 por hora para 2024 y seguir\u00e1 este cronograma:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">$10.00 por hora el 1 de julio de 2019,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">$11.00 el 1 de enero de 2020,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">$12.00 el 1 de enero de 2021,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">$13.00 el 1 de enero de 2022,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">$14.00 el 1 de enero de 2023,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">y $15.00 se alcanzar\u00e1 el 1 de enero de 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Aumento de los beneficios de licencia familiar de Nueva Jersey<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Proyecto de Ley del Senado No. 2528, que se convirti\u00f3 en ley el martes 19 de febrero de 2019, es una expansi\u00f3n financiada por los contribuyentes de la Ley de Licencia Familiar (FLA) y el Seguro de Licencia Familiar Pagada (FLI) ya existentes. Este proyecto de ley permite a los habitantes de Nueva Jersey obtener beneficios por hasta 12 semanas si est\u00e1n esperando un hijo o si necesitan tomarse un tiempo libre para cuidar a un familiar enfermo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los empleados ser\u00e1n elegibles para recibir beneficios si contribuyen al programa en su n\u00f3mina, han trabajado al menos 20 semanas con un ingreso de al menos $172 semanales o han ganado al menos $8,600 en los \u00faltimos 12 meses. La nueva ley ampl\u00eda el l\u00edmite de deducci\u00f3n salarial de $34.400 a $131.000, reduciendo as\u00ed el salario neto de los empleados m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del l\u00edmite actual; sin embargo, el reembolso salarial aumentar\u00e1 a 85% de salarios, hasta $860 por semana. Adem\u00e1s, el plazo de reembolso se ampliar\u00e1 de 6 semanas a 12 semanas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A partir del 3 de junio de 2019, los empleadores con m\u00e1s de 30 empleados tendr\u00e1n que restaurar a los empleados a su puesto anterior.
